A truly great nation takes care of its citizens by providing excellent health care and education. It’s a place where nature is integrated into urban settings and even the largest city is covered in parks and green spaces. Being close to nature is a remedy for stress.

A great nation encourages sustainability in all aspects of life. Children are educated to be gardians of their homeland and their home planet.

People in a great nation practice solidarity between citizens and provide humanitarian aid to those less fortunate within and beyond their borders. The citizens are content with their government and prefer a simple lifestyle that is not just about consumerism. The lifestyle emphasises cooperation instead of competitiveness.

Because the people feel safe, there is a low level of crime.

The climate may be intensely cold at times, but people know how to adapt and enjoy time together indoors. The long, light summer months are intensely joyful. There is a place that is truly great and I have been fortunate to live there. It is Finland.
