This morning my I asked my husband, Lyle, to describe me, as I am now: 79 years old, recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and under the influence of a variety of new medications. He said, in rank order: smart, disorganized, forgetful, moody and committed.
Then I asked him to describe me when we first met 54 years ago. He thought about it and replied: fun, easy going, studious and hot.
We both enjoyed our morning talk.
