What are your daydreams like? How are they different from your day-to-day life?

Lately the world of my day dreams is unsafe. While I am wise and strong with powerful allies, I can’t tell you everything’s going to be okay. I can see the future, perhaps because I have lived so long. I know my way around, but safe places are fewer and fewer all the time. Trust is rare because lies are so prevalent; so easy to spin even when they seem impossible to believe. We believe. We carry them proudly. Lies pile upon lies. I’m stressed. My dreams are way too real and too often verified by political action.

In one dream I am learning to connect with a source of strength, goodness and truth within myself and my trusted companions, my allies. I trust my family, friends and neighbors. I have faith in my own powers of discernment. I can fly. I see things and know things and unmask the lies.

I do not know the source of my dreams. It could be my tendency to watch the nightly news or an occasional political action thriller.
